# This question is a little more difficult than the others, as there are two characters very commonly used. 菇 and 茄. Both are characters used as sound loans (the first means "fungus" and the second "aubergine", and the HV sound isn;t very close either. The three Vietnamese Classics, Luc Van Tien, Truyen Kieu, and Chinh Phu Ngam all have 茄, but the Tam Thien Tu, Huinh Tinh Paulus, Bonet, and Genibrel all have 菇.
